About Tafara Farm

Farm

Located in Top Hill, a part of the world-famous Orange Hill cannabis region in the Westmoreland Parish of Jamaica.

The farm comprised of rich agricultural land and stunning mountain views sits nestled in a pristine forest wilderness teaming with vibrant natural spaces and a bounty of jungle plants. Today Tafara Farm proudly produces a variety of organic produce, herbs, fruit and cannabis products, features a community gathering space, rejuvenating forest bathing experiences, natural medicine teas, mountain top meditations, and a truly natural infused farm-to-fork foodie experience.

Philanthropy

Like many philanthropic endeavors, we rely on earned income to fund various programs and services for our community. When you visit for a farm tour, event or attend a film screening, you are only experiencing a part of what we offer. The proceeds from these activities contribute to maintaining our facilities, organizing free community events, supporting local initiatives, and funding youth programs like the upcoming Tafara Kids Empowerment program set to launch in summer 2025. Additionally, these earnings cover the salaries of our dedicated staff who work hard to make these initiatives possible. We also seek grants, sponsorships, and donations to ensure that these programs remain accessible or free to all.
